Power Stack Technology – AB Mikroelektronik wins VERENA Award
AB Mikroelektronik developed the first to the market process for soldering of electronic components to Aluminum which makes Power Electronics for E-Drive much more eco-friendly and offers also a very high cost/efficiency benefit.
The Power Stack Technology is an electronic packaging architecture which enables double sided cooling for active semiconductor components.
The Power Stack module has no bond wire connections which allows best cooling with both air and liquid and has no printed circuit boards because, based on our patents, all electrical structures are printed directly onto aluminium base plates i.e. producing low thermal resistance.
The module is compact yet delivers enormous power transfer performance for electrical mobility. It has potential uses in a wide range of electrical driven vehicles including bikes, scooters and cars and can be used for battery management, automatic gear boxes and other auxiliary power systems in cars and trucks.
As E-Mobility gains more and more importance, we too want to be actively involved and support our customers at this environmentally friendly alternative to conventional vehicles. We offer solutions for E- and Hybrid Vehicles according to customer specific application.
