SPINpad – High Speed Rotor Position Sensor


The new inductive high-speed rotation and position technology (SPINpad) has been developed in accordance with the requirements ISO 26262 and enables the accurate detection of speed and rotary position, especially for sensors in the engine and vehicle mount portion of the drive train.

    By using a special thermosetting material and appropriate process technology for direct over moulding, we have achieved impressive durability and improved the robustness of our speed sensors significantly, as well as optimising the design for cost reduction.


    Through many years’ experience at our center of excellence for speed sensors, we are able to carry out the critical processing steps in our central highly automated plants in Germany, and to produce the final prepared modules at consistently high quality in assembly plants worldwide.
